Tour Historic BK House & Gardens

We are currently open for tours, Monday – Tuesday and Thursday – Saturday.

Tours are at 10 am, 11 am, and from 1-3 pm.

Our tour explores two hundred years of French Quarter history through the lens of the diverse families and individuals who have called the Historic BK House home. Visitors will be invited to tour inside the main house, built in 1826, and period parterre garden as well as the courtyard and parts of the dependency buildings and original slave quarter – which also house the 1950s writing studio of Frances Parkinson Keyes.

For an overview of the house’s history and its former inhabitants, visit here.
