Beauregard-Keyes Historic House & Gardens
1113 Chartres St.

For nearly two centuries, the Beauregard-Keyes House and Garden has stood at the corner of Chartres and Ursuline Streets, bearing witness to the evolution of the dynamic lower French Quarter. The history of New Orleans is reflected in the stories of the seven owners of this historic property. It’s been a family estate, a rental property, a wholesale wine business, a WWII canteen, and, of course, the historic house museum we cherish today.

While our own transformation hasn’t always been visible to passersby, we’ve spent the last decade actively restoring this icon of Creole and American architecture from foundation to facade. Our tours and programming have evolved as well to reflect the last 200 years of history both inside and right outside these walls.

This year’s fundraiser will support the continued restoration of the envelope of the main building, specifically the Ursuline Street or Garden-facing facade, including necessary replacement of the windows and shutters, stucco and masonry repairs.

Please join us this fall as we celebrate the next chapter of this New Orleans treasure!
